About Us


Traduction Interligne Translation was launched February 5th, 1985. Julie Turcotte, the founder, operated the business from her home, performing all functions. As time progressed, freelance translators joined the company and Julie's primary function became that of head revisor The firm became incorporated in July 1990 and moved to other premises in August 1992. The company now has several full-time employees (administrative personnel and translators) and uses the services of freelancers, translators and revisors.

Qualification of our staff

•Our translators and revisors hold a bachelor's degree in translation or related field and have extensive experience. Some are members of l'Ordre des traducteurs et interprètes du Québec (OTIAQ). Most have been with us for over fifteen years.

Quality Standards

•Precision of language and correctness of grammar produces a transparent text.

•Respect of deadlines is crucial.


•Documents are translated and reviewed. We assign the same team of translator-revisor to each specific account, when possible. We take all possible measures to insure consistency with prior translations or any references and preferences provided by the client.  

•Terminology research is done as required. In addition to reference manuals, lexicons and dictionaries, we utilize the Bank of terminology of the Quebec Government (Le grand dictionnaire terminologique) and the Federal Government (Termium) on line as well as various Web sites.


•We transmit the document by e-mail, Dropbox, etc.
